Dear Friends,

Send us a miracle report so we can post it on the site as an inspiration for all.

All our best,

A Second Life

I was as far as I knew in near perfect health, the father of two and the
husband of a wonderful woman. I was cooking a simple meal in the kitchen and
waiting for my family to return home when I started having this terrible
headache which didn't get better or go away, but just got worse until I
could feel myself pass out on the floor. My last thought was that I was
dying and then I was out like a light.

Not long afterwards our older daughter came in the house and found me and
screamed and then called for an ambulance right away. Although I have
amnesia for the period of the next few weeks I later learned that I was
diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm, a type which ran in my family. A very
long operation was done on me, but the prognosis that they gave to my wife
was not good. They told her that I would die or be brain-dead.
She asked everyone of faith that she knew to pray for me and then she even
asked whole churches of those who were into healing to also pray for me.

For a long time I didn't seem to improve, but then it came slowly and after
some weeks I was allowed to return home although I was completely shattered.
In rehab I was taught to talk again and to walk again and even to get on a
computer again. As I left rehab we were all told that some would regain
everything and some would not. It was the first time that anyone had raised
the possiblity that I might completely recover.

We all continued to pray for my recovery as I got used to living at home
again and tried to improve the skills that I had relearned.
It took time, time and more time. I also prayed that I would be able to pray
to help someone else who was as I once was to recover from being near death.

One person that was really in need of help was named Stacie whose mother
contacted me.
The mother's name was Barbara and when I prayed for her daughter she told me
that she used to pray also. She used to pray until she saw that Stacie was
just getting worse and worse and that only death could be expected. Her
daughter was her whole life and she could not imagine life without her.
As I continued to pray and I would mention this to Barbara, she began to
pray again.

Next she told me that they were taking Stacie to a specialist and we all
prayed for this. When he examined her...he told Barbara that he would have
to operate. It was her only chance to live, but when they returned the
following day, he told her that he had changed his mind. It was too
dangerous and his deep feeling was that the aneurysm had stopped growing. If
this was really true, then it was possible that it would decline in size.

We prayed daily and when re-examined a few weeks later he saw that it had
stopped growing and had perhaps declined slightly.
Keep doing nothing was the idea, as we continued to pray. After about two
years it was seen that it was completely gone. Barbara had her daughter
back, and Stacie had life back. Isn't this the way it should be?

What happened also seemed to improve my faith and health status and helped
me over some of the last hurdles that I needed to overcome.

It has been six years and I finally feel and look very close to what I used
to, except my faith is much stronger. God does His miracles of goodness
whenever we have some faith to go with it.

Thanks to Jesus!
